Silos, containers and tanks must be opened frequently and their fill level checked.

Due to often non-standardised procedures, comprehensive information on the fill level can often only be recorded using several members of staff.

Silos or tanks located in distant or hard-to-reach locations make checking the fill level even more difficult.

Smart monitoring of fill levels with LoRaWAN®

A level sensor is installed in the respective container and transmits the current status data via the LoRaWAN® remote network.

The data can be used for various monitoring purposes.

ZENNER’s ELEMENT IoT platform detects the fill levels and can automatically inform the operator if defined limit values are exceeded or undercut.
