For 100 years, ZENNER has produced innovative measuring devices. Energy providers benefit from digital radio solutions, such as the IUWS ultrasonic water meter with “parallel radio” function, which transmits data via both Wireless M-Bus and LoRaWAN®. This dual approach ensures reliable readings even in areas with poor coverage.
Gas Meters in Focus at Enlit 2024
In 2024, ZENNER will produce around eight million gas meters globally, positioning it as a leading supplier. At Enlit 2024 in Milan, ZENNER will showcase its MID and DVGW-approved diaphragm gas meters (G4 and G6). With state-of-the-art production facilities, ZENNER ensures quality that meets the demands of gas providers. Modern gas meters must be durable, technically advanced, safe, and compliant with regulatory standards, while also being economically viable and communication-ready.

IoT and LoRaWAN® solutions
The largest LoRaWAN® network in Europe
ZENNER operates Europe’s largest LoRaWAN® network for water, heat, and gas meter data transmission. Managed by ZENNER Connect in Germany, it offers cost-effective, scalable solutions for municipal utilities and smart cities, enabling flexible IoT project expansion without network bottlenecks. At the LoRaWAN® Live event in Munich this May, a presentation by the LoRa Alliance highlighted Minol-ZENNER’s network, which connects around eight million devices, putting it on par with the combined networks of the top four competitors.
New IoT Gateway from ZENNER
ZENNER presents its new “IoT Gateway Outdoor 16” at Enlit 2024, designed for IoT applications with LoRaWAN®. This gateway supports reliable, energy-efficient data transmission over long distances and allows all 16 channels to connect freely to various LoRaWAN® network servers. Featuring the latest technology, it supports applications from smart cities to Industry 4.0. The gateway stands out for its easy integration, robust design, and broad compatibility with existing networks.

Asvin GmbH Enhances our Group’s Cyber Security Expertise
Asvin GmbH from Stuttgart strengthens the Group’s cyber security capabilities, addressing EU regulations like NIS2, CRA, and RED with services for secure IoT operations. At Enlit Europe 2024, Asvin presents the Device Security Booster™, which manages IoT devices through OTA updates for firmware and security patches on LoRaWAN® and NB-IoT networks. This solution supports utilities and housing sectors with features like on-boarding, firmware updates, and predictive maintenance, enhancing secure device lifecycle management.
