Digital solutions for resilient water management
Metering as a Service
Discover the complete digital solution Metering as a Service, consisting of meters, gateways, data solutions and our LoRaWAN® network. Wireless meters collect the measurement data and can be read via wM-Bus or LoRaWAN®. Both reading technologies are integrated into a single platform, the ZENNER Datahub, thus ensuring optimal reading rates.
The IUWS ultrasonic water meter
A true innovation is the latest generation of the IUWS ultrasonic water meter, which offers the ‘parallel radio’ function. This allows measurement data to be transmitted simultaneously via wM-Bus and LoRaWAN®.
Smart Water Solutions
As a smart water solution provider, ZENNER supports water suppliers in digitising their processes step by step – from intelligent meter reading and water quality monitoring to innovative solutions for flood protection. This creates efficient, secure and sustainable structures in water management.
ZENNER is also promoting resilience in other smart city applications, such as air quality measurement and environmental monitoring, smart metering and energy efficiency in buildings, level monitoring of winter service silos, and urban data platforms.
Practical application
Leak detection in Stade
The smart leak detection system from ZENNER and HST Systemtechnik monitors pipe networks using IoT sensors. This enables damage to be detected at an early stage, saving costs, resources and the environment.
Cooperation on digital water network monitoring
Since April 2025, ZENNER and FAST have been developing a modular solution for digital leak detection. Acoustic loggers record noises in the network and send the data via LoRaWAN® to the element suite IoT platform – for precise, efficient and scalable results.
