The latest generation of the IUWS ultrasonic water meter, which offers the ‘parallel radio’ function, is a real innovation. Measurement data can thus be transmitted simultaneously – via wM-Bus and LoRaWAN®.

Wireless meters record the metering data and can be read out via wM-Bus or LoRaWAN®. Smart Submetering
In smart submetering with ZENNER, the three solution components involved – LoRaWAN®, CLS Management and Smart Meter Gateway (SMGW) – are intelligently networked with each other. Wireless heat and water meters, heat cost allocators and other sensors transmit measurement data at short intervals via LoRaWAN® wirelessly to an IoT gateway, which then forwards the data to the SMGW via the CLS interface. All ZENNER LoRaWAN® gateways are already CLS-capable and can be connected to a smart meter gateway as a submeter unit (SME).
