With LoRaWAN® to the smart building
At more than 30 per cent, the building sector is still the biggest CO2 polluter in Germany. Submetering is an important starting point. The recording and billing of energy consumption for heating and hot water on an apartment-by-apartment basis enables a high level of transparency in energy consumption, which demonstrably leads to a more conscious use of resources.
The intelligent control of radiator thermostats is another example of how energy can be saved quickly and easily. With the BuildingLink app from ZENNER, specific areas of the building can be controlled via LoRaWAN® and the temperatures adjusted according to the actual degree of utilisation. According to studies, potential energy savings of up to 31.5 percent can be achieved depending on user behaviour and building insulation.
