Initial situation: the building sector is the largest CO2 emitter in Germany
Currently, only about 25% of buildings in Germany can be classified as sustainable. Existing buildings should become climate-neutral by 2045. New laws and regulations, such as the amendment to the Heating Costs (HKVO) Ordinance and the EU taxonomy, show how the issue of consumption transparency is coming into focus. Sustainable digitization of buildings is therefore necessary.
