ZENNER is celebrating 100 years of water meter production this year. The company has been producing its own water meters since 1924 – 100 years of innovation. This also includes the latest generation of the IUWS ultrasonic water meter, which offers the “parallel radio” function. This allows measurement data to be transmitted simultaneously via wM-Bus and LoRaWAN®.
ZENNER is also presenting the new digital complete solution “Metering as a Service”, consisting of meters, gateways and the LoRaWAN® network of ZENNER Connect. Wireless meters record the measurement data and can be read out via wM-Bus or LoRaWAN®. Both meter reading technologies are integrated into a single platform, the ZENNER Datahub, thus ensuring unrivalled meter reading rates. Metering as a Service fulfils all requirements for a future-proof and sustainable water supply. At the same time, this solution lays the foundation for variable water tariffs and supports customers in efficiently managing their water management processes.
